ACKNOWLEDGE (in Hebrew the word is yada. Means to know or recognize what has been established)
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Psalm 32:5 I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.
Psalm 51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.
I John 2:23 No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
I John 4:15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
ADOPTION (when we received Jesus Christ by faith as our Saviour we become the children of God belonging to God’s family and his inheritance)
JOHN 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.
Romans 8:14-15 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba Father.
Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. 17 And if children, then heirs;heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Ephesians 1:5 “Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.”
AUTHORITY ( the ability, right ,or power to do something derived from another person or source)
Matthew 7:29 “For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.”
Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”
Luke 10:19 “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will harm you.”
ROMANS 13:1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.
Revelation 2:26 He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to Him I will give authority over the nations.
