SERVANT

WAIT ON THE LORD

HUMBLE ( lack of arrogance, absence of self, ability to listen to God and to receive His grace)

Matthew 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

I Peter 5:5 Likewise, you young, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisted the proud, and give grace to the humble.

I Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.

SERVANT (to the seek the will of God in all things, to die to self-daily and become a slave pleasing to Jesus Christ)

Matthew 25:21 His Lord said unto him, well done, thy good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.

Mark 9:35 And he sat down, and called the 12, and saith unto them, If any man desires to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.

WAIT ON THE LORD (having faith in the Lord that we are in God’s hands)

Isaiah 40:31 “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint”.

Psalm 27:14 Wait on the Lord: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

Psalm 37:34 Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

Psalm 130:5-6 I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope. 6 My soul wait for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
