RIGHTEOUSNESS

LOVINGKINDNESS (A characteristic of God. Hebrew word hesed. A sense of love and loyalty that reflects grace, mercy and compassion to another person.)

Psalms 36:10  Oh continue your love and kindness to those who know You, and your righteousness to the upright in heart.

Psalms 51:1 Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions.

Psalms 63:3  Because your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You.

Psalms 69:16 Answer me, O Lord, for Your lovingkindness is good; according to the greatness of Your compassion, turn to me,

Psalms 119:76  O may Your lovingkindness comfort me according to Your word to Your Servant.

Jeremiah 31:3  The Lord appeared to him from afar, saying, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, I have drawn you with loving-kindness.

REPENT (To return; to change our thinking and attitudes towards God.)

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people who are called by my name will humbles themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and I will heal the land.

Matthew 4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of The Lord.

RIGHTEOUSNESS (Based on God’s standards. The perfection or holiness of his nature. Having a purity of heart; living life with His divine law.)

Psalm 23:3 He restores my soul: he leaded me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Psalms 85:11 Lovingkindness and truth meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other.

Psalms 85:14 Righteousness is going before Him and prepares a way for His feet.

Psalm 103:4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crown thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

Matthew 5:6  Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be satisfied.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.

2 Corinthians 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
