WISDOM

UNDERSTANDING

KNOWLEDGE (These are areas of the Spirit of God)

Ephesians 1-17-18 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the Father of Glory may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of him that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know what is the hope of his calling and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the Saints.

WISDOM

Ask for wisdom concerning a matter. Solomon asked God for wisdom to lead the children of Israel. Wisdom is applying the knowledge that you have for everyday life. A deep connection to one’s inner self to God. To find the interconnections of things.

Psalm 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

James1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

Job 12:13 With God are wisdom and might, he has counsel and understanding.

UNDERSTANDING

There are times that we need understanding on a matter. The ability to translate meaning from the facts and circumstances. The ability to comprehend beyond human appearances and into the Truth of a matter.

Proverbs 4:23 to love learning, truth, wisdom more than any other

pursuits.

Psalm 119:130 The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

Proverbs 4:5 Get wisdom get understanding do not forget my words or turn away from them.

Proverbs 14:29 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding; but he that is hasty of spirit exalt folly.

KNOWLEDGE

Hebrew words is Yada Helps us to grow in our faith in Him. Helps us to know by experience, such as pain, afflictions, loss, grief and judgements. Have you experienced these areas in your life? It sharpens our skills for reasoning and problem solving. The gift of knowledge can allow a believer to relate to the scriptures in every areas, of their lives. It will connect you to every situation and circumstances plus how the Gospel informs us of the truth and reality we make in the decisions of our daily lives.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but the

fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 2:10 When wisdom enters into the heart, and knowledge is

pleasant unto the soul.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because thou

have rejected knowledge.

Proverbs 8:10 Receive my instructions and not silver and knowledge

rather than choose gold.

Corinthians 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit.
